Metropolitan Area Network Donegal County Council welcomes the announcement of the construction of a Metropolitan Area Network for Donegal Town. Following the announcement by Minister for Communications Marine & Natural Resources Mr Noel Dempsey T.D. at a press briefing in Donegal Town on 5th December 2005, the Councils Head of Information Systems Mr. Brian Boyle warmly welcomed the development. | Register of Electors - Online
Enquiries The Register of Electors is updated every year in November. This Register is used for Elections and Referenda held throughout the year starting 15th February until the following 14th February. You can check here if your name and address are listed correctly in the current Register and any necessary changes can be made by downloading the appropriate application form, completing it and forwarding it to Donegal Co. | The County Donegal Draft Development Plan
2005 Donegal County Council has published the County Donegal Draft Development Plan 2005. Donegal County Council has a statutory obligation to prepare a County Development Plan for the county under Section 11 and 12 of the Planning and Development Acts 2000 - 2004. The County Donegal Draft Development Plan sets out a broad range of policies and proposals for land use in the county and once adopted by the full Council will be used to guide future development and investment priorities over the next number of years. | Out of Hours Water Service Emergencies - Call 074 91 72399 Donegal County Council have engaged the services of a Call Centre to deal with out of hours emergencies in relation to Water Services. Calls will only be accepted that relate to Water Service Emergencies. Routine maintenance or complaints will not be attended by this service. |

| Motor
Tax on the Internet With effect from 1st March 2004, private cars, motorcycles and vehicles adapted for use by disabled persons can be taxed on the Internet. The renewal/reminder notice will have a PIN number printed on the right hand side. By entering your vehicle registration number and PIN will give you access to the Motor Tax Online service for your vehicle. Vehicle insurance details (name of insurer, policy number and expiry date) and details of your Laser or Credit card will be requested online. |
