County Donegal is located in the North West Region. This region has a large and growing labour pool with over 427,000 people making it the largest sub-regional labour pool on the island after Dublin. The region has a highly educated population with a number of recognised centres of excellence including Letterkenny Institute of Technology, the University of Ulster, the Nother West Regional College etc. In addition, there is a network of airports in the region providing global connectivity through Derry and Donegal Airports.
